About Seed Acupuncture & Dr. Morgan Hartley, L.Ac.
Hi I’m Morgan, owner and clinical director of Seed Acupuncture, and I’m so happy you’re here!
Here’s a little bit about me…
After a healthy pregnancy with my first daughter, I expected an equally easy fertility journey for our second. The last thing I anticipated encountering were diagnoses of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, uterine polyps, endometriosis, and the dreaded “unexplained infertility.” After numerous surgeries, half a dozen IUIs, and ultimately a stressful and arduous IVF journey, I am fortunate to be raising two beautiful daughters.
The journey was long, expensive, and taxing (physically, mentally, emotionally), but ultimately informed my decision to become a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), specializing in women’s health and fertility.
Because of my personal experience in the infertility world, I understand how challenging and downright depressing it can be. You get sent to so many doctors, undergo so many invasive procedures, and get told there are so many things you can’t do you begin to lose all sense of self. That is what I’m here for. Seed Acupuncture is a space to center and ground you, to be seen and heard. Using a TCM framework, I look at your entire health picture, and ensure nothing is being overlooked. Together we will tackle your unique situation, making sure you feel comfortable and understood.
I’m excited to welcome you to Seed and can’t wait to help you on your road to reproductive health and support you in reaching your wellness goals.
An Encinitas native, Morgan received her B.A. from Dartmouth College and completed her four-year Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at AIMC, Berkeley, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
She completed her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Yo San University in Los Angeles.
Morgan is licensed by the California Acupuncture Board and is a proud member of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the Obstetrical Acupuncture Association.

Rachel Hart, Root to Radiate Massage
My name is Rachel Hart, and I am deeply grateful to have discovered my calling as a Licensed Massage Therapist over twelve years ago. I am committed to showing up wholeheartedly for each session, supporting you on your journey through life or motherhood, which — as a mama of two myself — I find to be so beautiful, so joyful, and so humbling. We are all living in a fast-paced world that can be quite overstimulating. It is my intention to help you pause, take a much-needed break from all responsibilities, nourish your nervous system, harness the healing power of your breath, and fully receive.
I blend modalities such as deep tissue, circulatory, sports massage, sensory repatterning, and neuromuscular therapy to create personalized treatments that are both restorative and effective. I hold a special place in my heart for mothers, parents, and women navigating times of uncertainty or transition — though I truly value the uniqueness of every individual I work with.
As a mother of two, I understand how much we give each day to care for our families — and how essential it is to replenish ourselves so we can live and give from a truly wholesome, heart-centered place. Creating a space where you can slow down, support your nervous system, fully receive, and reconnect with yourself brings me so much joy. My sincerest intention is to help you feel more grounded in your body, free in your mind, and more connected to yourself — so that you can do what you love and move through life's ebbs and flows from a nourished, heart-centered state of being.

Why “Seed?”
The name Seed holds many meanings for me: the spark of new life, a natural starting point for growth, and an invitation for transformation.
But a seed is more than just the beginning of an idea or feeling. It carries a primordial essence, and within it, everything it needs to thrive. With the right nourishment, a seed roots deep into the earth and bursts forth into the universe.
That’s what I believe we are all capable of. No matter where you are in your health journey, and whatever your path looks like, healing begins when you are supported from deep within your body.
At Seed Acupuncture, I’m here to nourish that process and help you unfurl into your fullest vitality, joy, and health.
With deep support for your healing,
Morgan
