Clinic Policies
Welcome to Seed Acupuncture. Our policies are designed to foster a respectful, safe, and supportive healing environment for all patients. Please review the following guidelines before your appointment.
1. Appointment Scheduling
Appointments can be scheduled online, by phone, or in person. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time. You will receive a confirmation and a reminder before your appointment.
2. Arrival, Late Arrival & No-Show Policy
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to allow time for check-in.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened so that we can remain on schedule for all patients.
No-shows (appointments missed without prior notice) are subject to the missed appointment fee described below.
3. Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Late cancellations or missed visits not only affect your care but also prevent us from offering that time to another patient. We require at least 24 hours notice for any changes or cancellations.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the appointment fee
Missed appointments (“no-shows”) will be charged the full appointment fee
4. Payment Policy
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept credit cards, debit cards, cash, and Apple Pay.
5. Privacy & Confidentiality
We comply fully with HIPAA and all patient privacy regulations. Your information is always kept confidential and is only shared as required by law or at your request. For more information, see our Notice of Privacy Practices.
6. Health & Safety
Seed Acupuncture maintains rigorous cleaning and sanitation procedures for your safety. If you are experiencing symptoms of illness (fever, cough, contagious condition), please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule without penalty.
7. Communication Policy
You may contact us by phone, email, or through our online portal messaging system. We strive to respond to all messages within one business day.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911.
8. Treatment of Minors
A parent or legal guardian must accompany patients under 18 years of age for all visits and must provide consent for treatment.
9. Consent to Treat
All patients must sign an informed consent form prior to receiving treatment. We are available to answer any questions about treatment before your first session.
10. Policy Updates
Our clinic policies may be updated periodically. The latest version will always be available on this page.
